ELF & SAFETY @ XMAS !  Please blog your near misses & accidents so OTHERS can avoid. Here are some to avoid.

•     On average 3 people in Britain die every year testing a nine volt battery with their tongue

•     250 are admitted to hospital every year as a result of trying to open bottles with their teeth

•     Since 1996, thirty four people have died watering their Christmas tree with the lights plugged in

•     On average sixty people every year are injured whilst using knives as screwdrivers

•     Confusing Christmas decorations with chocolate can result in premature death (choking being the favourite killing around five people a year)

•     In recent years four people were reported to have dislocated their shoulders in cracker pulling incidents

•     In the last 10 years over 100 people have required surgical intervention after getting pieces of plastic toys stuck in their feet
